Serious Rega kit

Rega's new flagship amplifier and CD player have arrived in store. Unassuming is the word here. They look like any other equipment until you get close. Up close one sees the amazing build and workmanship. Touching the unit, you get to know the fine materials and the precision of the controls. Then there's the sound quality... At $12500 each, this is not a cheap system, but we've just hooked them up to a set of $5000 Dynaudio Contour 1.4 speakers and after a few minutes I know there are several $40K+ systems that are going to be very worried about these new contenders.
