Any of you who spend time with Rab or Bo in the shop will eventually get force fed a pair of these.

They are world class panel speakers that have been designed by one of the best pair of Hi Fi ears on our planet being Tony Moore from Victoria. Tony no longer rides Harley Davidsons but now has one of the excellent but two dimensional Can Am Spyders ...
This 1.8m ribbon hybrid is an exceptional speaker, delivering powerful dynamics, soaring highs, deep bass and a particular ambient soundstage as well as offering positionally explicit imageing.
They incorporate the Ambience five element metal foil driver, which has proven to be extremely reliable and robust. They have a natural tendency to roll off at frequencies above 15KHz, without needing the use of electronic filter networks like conventional moving coil speakers that tend to add coloration and distortion.
The Bass driver has been specifically developed by SEAS of Norway to match the Ambience Ribbon driver, with a useful lower frequency response well below 30 Hz.
A complex third order crossover is specific to the Ambience Super Slim 1800 that allows for an exact rolloff to match the Seas sub bass driver to the ribbon. So one acheives real low frequency depth famously coupled with that boxless stage transparency that only Ribbon or Electrostatic speakers can produce.
The soundstage is extremely large, and being of di-polar type design, has great lateral and front back depth. Because of their natural roll off tendency at the upper most frequencies, listening is very smooth and relaxing, even when operated at high volume levels.
The clarity of their vocal rendition is by the way particularly appropriate for cinematic and other visual based reproduction. The massive midrange information carriage of this transducer is terrific for an application where there may no option for a centre channel.
Ambience make on wall versions of these speakers that are only 2 cm deep, as well as a matching centre channel, and a brilliant isobaric subwoofer.
