In a repeat of the Pioneer marketing process that in 1997 that helped drop DVD into the market with such rapidity, Sharp is offering an 8 disc package of titles with the new player at a price of $699. The titles immediately included as I understand it are "The Guardian", "Pearl Harbour" , and "Finding Neverland". One can also then choose five titles from a 16 choice package by mail.

Sharp have anounced a new Blu-Ray player that promises to be a reasonable price and still produce a fantastic picture.

Couple this with the fact that prices on high definition TV panels are dropping like Port Adelade's self esteem, and no home should be without this next big step in consumer electronics. Maybe ...

We expect this unit to have a go price of $749....but ... actually we will be selling it at $599 with up to 8 Blue Ray titles thrown in.... 24 HZ aquos link device perfect for use with the upcoming high scanning frequency 1080 TVs.
