These are nice speakers that will last a very long time, owning these is the complete opposite of a sino-american horn loaded Walmart product with viscous treble and overblown bass that so many people buy as their first loudspeaker. Making that sort of faux american loudspeaker purchase mistake is like having the too-much-alcohol and too-much-drugs with far-right values boyfriend as your first relationship.

A pair of Dynaudios is on the other hand falling in love with the nerd in the library who shines with beauty when they let their hair down and take their spectacles off and can also cook and dance.. these are smart and subtle without a high end price tag.

A lovely piece of work and a notable inclusion to the Marantz range ... one absolutely loves the adjustable Phono MC input impedance. The original Marantz Consollette made in New York in 1953 had phono equaliser controls on the front. These are made with love in the Japanese factory and will be in great demand.

The phono tech in this amplifier makes it an awesome choice for a good quality turntable based setup.

By the way it's hard to overstate just how pretty this amplifier is and even more so if you put it together with the matching Cd Player Streamer component.

Rotel know how to make an amp, for anyone who is a student of amplifier design in the same way that so many red blooded males are students of automobile engines looking at a Rotel amplifier with the cover off is an exercise of Hi Fi lust.

This Ishiwata Tribute amplifier is the AMG version of the normal Rotel A11 ... but it's the same price ... fantastic ...

This amplifier replaces the Dialogue Premium HP, PrimaLuna's highly regarded original flagship integrated. It builds on the superior performance of the HP by tweaking things here and there but retaining what makes PrimaLuna special - superb Tube amplifier performance.

At 70 Watts per channel, the power of this amp may sound modest but don't be fooled this is a very capable machine that can power the hungriest of speakers. 

Upgraded swiss made wiring inside the unit and german made resistors...that haven't spared any expense with the makeup of the circuitry and the design of the amp.

Sometimes a speaker needs to be discreet. That shouldn't mean that it can't sound good however. Take the Krix IC-50 all that's visible in your room is a speaker grille and a vanishing thin bezel...

These were previously the Krix Atmospherix AS. Essentially unchanged, Krix have swapped the name out for a more traditional model number.

A very pure British loudspeaker product. There are no faux brand values in these Philip Swift designed and built loudspeakers. They stand uncorrupted by corporate takeovers and brand marketing in an environment full of legacy and provenance fakery.

One of the most anticipated pairs of speakers of recent times. The promise of that "trickle down" Platinum range technology at a much more inclusive price point had a good chunk of potential MA newbies and Silver/older Gold upgraders very excited.

There's no doubting the potential of these speakers, give them a bit of consideration when setting up, choose the right amp and speaker cable and they are beyond what would be considered high-end esoterica just 10 years ago.

As a previous "Gold" owner (GR20s, equally giant-slaying in their day), I was more excited than most to hear these and they did not disappoint. I'm a massive fan of the MPD high frequency driver, an A.M.T./Heil driver always stands out to me but can dominate a speaker design if the rest of the drive units and crossover cant keep up. Its a balance that MA demonstrated with the current Platinum range and could easily have "dropped the ball" here trying to impliment the array into a cheaper package. To MA's credit they've done a fantastic job, the little C-Cam mid-range I think is the secret to this speaker working so well.

I urge you to come and hear these speakers play back a well recorded acoustic instrument or small ensemble to really get an idea of what a modern design can acheive when it comes to nuanced reproduction.
