If one wants to get into streaming music to a high end system, one needs a decent network device. A proper HiFi network streamers in a real component width chassis, with a real power supply, real DAC, and real output stage, sounds so much better than the mass market multi room systems. They make the small plastic boxes seem like the toys that they are. The problem has always been the user interface. Most HiFi streamers have garbage smartphone apps, if they have one at all, and the front panel controls are often just as useless. No matter how good a unit sounds, it's pointless if it's a pain to use.
It looks like someone pointed this out to Cambridge, and they took it to heart.
The CXN is a damn fine sounding network streamer. It's akin to a ye olden high end CD player, but with a network card and a colour screen where the CD draw would be. The Android/iDevice app is clean and intuitive. The front panel controls are snappy, with the jog wheel making navigation easy. The CXN represents a new direction for Cambridge's network devices and the future is looking very good.
This is the latest version and it has better DACs with a more refined interface. As part of the new Cambridge Audio series it is only available in the Moonstone Grey finish.

Shipping on these items will be standard delivery. If you want expedited shipping, an option should be available at checkout.
We try to dispatch all goods within 48 hours however from time to time the stock in store runs out before we have a chance to update the website. In these cases we will contact you if the item will take longer than 48 hours to be dispatched.
We strongly suggest that items are shipped to a business address, or an address where someone can sign for the delivery. On checkout you have the option of choosing Authoirty to Leave. This will not require a signature, but goods will be left at your premise and the delivery company will take no responsibility for them beyond this point.
