Loewe Bild 3 55" inch TV, OLED

Loewe is the inventor of Televisions producing their first set in 1923. And from that point on they've been a leader in producing exceptional quality TV sets for the world market.

The Bild 3.55 TV is an OLED TV. It uses OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) technology. OLED TVs do away with the need to have a Backlight on the screen which inevitably causes bleed through onto the panel reducing colour and picture accuracy. Organic LEDs are different from normal LEDs in that they can individually switch themselves off. This is why people first notice the incredible blackness on an OLED screen - a traditional LED or LCD screen always has some residual light shining through. 

The OLED has advantages beyond what is simply touted as being better black levels, although that is true. They are more efficient and therefore environmentally friendly requiring less energy because they don't have the Backlight. They have a wider viewing angle and they have better colour contrast and range.

An OLED TV is not another one of those Techy Acronyms designed to confuse consumers into thinking they must buy it. OLED is actually a cool technology that has solved alot of the problems of TVs that have plagued the market since the time of the Plasmas...yes, I know, Plasmas weren't necessarily perfect but boy, if you've got one that's still kicking, they look amazing!

Shipping on these items will be standard delivery. If you want expedited shipping, an option should be available at checkout.

We try to dispatch all goods within 48 hours however from time to time the stock in store runs out before we have a chance to update the website. In these cases we will contact you if the item will take longer than 48 hours to be dispatched.

We strongly suggest that items are shipped to a business address, or an address where someone can sign for the delivery. On checkout you have the option of choosing Authoirty to Leave. This will not require a signature, but goods will be left at your premise and the delivery company will take no responsibility for them beyond this point.

Delivery times can vary depending on location. Regional areas may take more than 5 business days depending on the courier used.
