Introducing the UB-9000, Panasonic’s flagship 4K Blu-ray player. Building on their years of experience, the UB-9000 is ready to set new standards for video and audio quality in home cinema.

The Reavon UBR-X100 is pitched to replace the Oppo UBP-203, one of the most loved universal disc players of all time perhaps only usurped by it's brother, the Oppo UBP-205. We were hugely dissapointed when Oppo stopped making their range of disc players and have been eagerly awaiting the Oppo void to be filled. Panasonic brought out their DP-UB9000 which has an awesome, very accurate picture quality complete with HDR processing. (See our page for the Panasonic DP-UB9000 here). 

The Reavon UBR-X100 is a cheaper model than the Panasonic and offers a warm, more natural picture than the Panasonic. It still doesn't have SACD play back, you do have to go up to the UBR-X200 for that and also to get some of those really nice analog audio connections.

If you don't need the frills and are only interest in a high quality disc player for Blu-rays this is a perfect option, that stands well above the cheap and lifeless players you pick up from big chain retailers.
