Lets face it TV is boring ...not only for broadcast content but as an aesthetic inclusion into the home. Occasionally manufacturers have attempted to break the constraints of aspect ratio and they have always failed. Finally there may be some light on this horizon.

When this Lockdown was started on August 6th we thought it would be over in a week. Now it has become has become a kind of trench warfare of business attrition where we gain a small amount of ground under fire but are then slung back into our holes to wait for word of the next great leap forward.

Lockdown dystopia

It was with a momentary stab of despair that I was on the receiving end of the first rumours of the impending lockdown yesterday.
This lockdown was a little bit more dystopian than previous ones. In the morning we were the state with zero cases being a little bit smug and by six o clock there were tinfoil fascists protesting on the streets with helicopters overhead as the virus reappeared in force in the western suburbs.
