The Yamaha NS3000 loudspeaker

This is the son of the ... fantastic ... NS5000 three way without compromise loudspeaker. We absolutely love the NS5000, it is a completely fitting successor to the original NS1000 loudspeakers from the twentieth century. The NS3000 is a two way bookshelf design with dedicated stands with drive units of the same Zylon material that offers speed and bandwidth with transient attack characteristics currently unsurpassed. It is a big advantage being a musical instrument superpower when developing new transducer materials.

The NS-3000 / SPS-3000 speaker and stand combination is built around rigidity as being imperative in ensuring audio integrity. FEM analysis and laser measurements were used to determine optimal reinforcing of the cross pieces, suppressing “box ringing” caused by delayed vibration from all six surfaces of the loudspeaker box.

The NS-3000 presents a seamless transition across bass, mid-range and high-end frequencies, thanks to the use of this particular Zylon material in both units. The result is a remarkable continuity in tone across frequencies so as to deliver a distinctively accurate yet abundantly emotional sound. These are the essence of Yamaha's Natural Sound moniker.

The crossover and drive unit coils are cool ... an MCap SUPREME EVO audio capacitor made by Mundorf of Germany, renowned as the pinnacle in audio-use capacitor, is used along with a huge precision woofer coil. In order to remove unwanted resonant influences there is an R.S. (Resonance Suppression) Chamber located at the rear of the tweeter that works to cancel tube resonance that can otherwise forcibly move the diaphragm and therefore impact the accuracy of the audio.

The SPS-3000 speaker stand was designed exclusively for the NS-3000 and ensures the correct height of the speaker for listening while seated, as well as to minimize the effect of reflections. Further, the stand is comprised of a 6 mm thick top metal plate, wood support column and sturdy 35 mm thick wood base with a 5 mm metal plate and convertible floor spikes.

Shipping on these items will be standard delivery. If you want expedited shipping, an option should be available at checkout.

We try to dispatch all goods within 48 hours however from time to time the stock in store runs out before we have a chance to update the website. In these cases we will contact you if the item will take longer than 48 hours to be dispatched.

We strongly suggest that items are shipped to a business address, or an address where someone can sign for the delivery. On checkout you have the option of choosing Authoirty to Leave. This will not require a signature, but goods will be left at your premise and the delivery company will take no responsibility for them beyond this point.
