This is the first model of the uprated Aventage series.
Although it is similar in spec to an RX-6 "cookong" model it has very significant improvements including:
- 5th anti-resonance foot offers further chassis support
- IR in / out 3.5mm rear mounted inputs
- Upgraded Yamaha 'premium' remote control
- 10,000uF capacitors in the power supply vs the 8,200uF of the RX-V6A (giving greater reserves to handle dynamic audio swings)
- 4 year warranty with 1 year extra by Registration (vs 2 years with the RX-V6A)
- Beefier chassis (10.2kg vs 9.8kg) with a front panel that matches the Aventage series styling.

HDR10+ greatly improves dynamic range (the ratio of light to dark) of video content on a scene-by-scene (or even frame-by-frame) basis. Also, using frame-by-frame metadata, it improves the scene characteristics between bright and dark so that important detail can remain. This enables displays to reproduce images more realistically, adhering to the creator's intent.

Shipping on these items will be standard delivery. If you want expedited shipping, an option should be available at checkout.
We try to dispatch all goods within 48 hours however from time to time the stock in store runs out before we have a chance to update the website. In these cases we will contact you if the item will take longer than 48 hours to be dispatched.
We strongly suggest that items are shipped to a business address, or an address where someone can sign for the delivery. On checkout you have the option of choosing Authoirty to Leave. This will not require a signature, but goods will be left at your premise and the delivery company will take no responsibility for them beyond this point.
