Fyne Audio F500S Dual Concentric Bookshelf Speakers

The Fyne Audio F500S brings the latest development of the company’s IsoFlare point-source driver technology to a compact bookshelf design, combining clarity with impressively even dispersion. Its 6-inch multi-fibre LF cone uses a FyneFlute™ roll surround for precise transient response and natural, articulate sound, while the neodymium HF magnet, vented rear chamber and magnesium HF diaphragm help reduce resonance and extend high-frequency performance beyond 30kHz. The result is a speaker that feels equally at home with music or films, delivering a natural and immersive soundstage without demanding a great deal of space.

Placement is made easier by Fyne Audio’s patented BassTrax™ Tractrix Diffuser System, which converts downward-firing bass energy into an even 360-degree dispersion pattern, reducing sensitivity to room positioning. There’s also a rear-facing presence switch offering ±3dB adjustment between 2.5 and 5.0kHz, allowing a little personal fine-tuning of the soundstage. Built into a high-rigidity MDF cabinet, the F500S is available in luxury Black Oak or Natural Walnut real wood veneer, as well as Piano Gloss Black. A rather polished solution when space is at a premium, without compromising on proper hi-fi ambition.
