Mission 778 components
Mission 778 components
One upon a time in Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire the Mission loudspeaker company not only produced some of the most innovative loudspeakers of the time but experimented with a range of electronics including amplifiers, compact disc players, and turntables.
The original Mission high fidelity components then became the Mission Cyrus range, reflecting the company founder Farad Azima's Iranian origins. Cyrus then separated from Mission as an independent brand that has survived and grown in the UK and these days makes fantastic high end audio components with some very advanced features and sound quality.
Meanwhile the Mission brand was taken over by the Chinse IAG audio manufacturing conglomeration in 2006 and has basically stayed quietly in the background being used as a vessel for cost effective loudspeaker production.
In the last couple of years the IAG range has been maturing and realising the promise of the manufacturing and design potential of the new Chinese tech industry. These new Mission components are born again cost effective and charming high fidelity pieces that are ideal for starting a music system in a compact inner city residence.
