The Silver 100 has traditionally been a 2-way but Monitor Audio have broken with tradition with the 8G iteration. This latest model is a powerful true 3-way standmount speaker, designed to deliver exceptional high-fidelity performance. This places it an entirely different performance and also price category. We’ll be keen to see how our customers respond. At its core is a large 8-inch C-CAM bass driver with advanced RST III cone geometry, capable of reaching impressively deep, controlled low frequencies. This is paired with a dedicated 3-inch midrange driver and a 1-inch C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter, ensuring smooth, seamless transitions across the entire frequency range, from rich bass through to crisp, detailed highs. A refined crossover design enhances integration between drivers, while the Silent Flow port helps optimise airflow and reduce distortion for cleaner sound. The rigid, braced cabinet, strengthened with Through-Bolt Technology, minimises resonance for greater accuracy and clarity. Available in three contemporary finishes, the Silver 100 8G combines striking design, premium materials, and outstanding acoustic performance.
