Monitor Audio seems to be on pretty safe ground here. The Silver 100 8G went from a 2 to a 3-way bookshelf and changed price radically. By comparison the Silver 300 8G is once again a 3-way floorstanding speaker that delivers exceptional high-fidelity performance with both power and precision. And its price is almost unchanged from the 7G which is most welcome. The 8G features twin 6-inch C-CAM bass drivers with advanced RST III cone geometry, working alongside a dedicated 3-inch midrange driver and a 1-inch C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter to reproduce the full sonic spectrum with remarkable depth, clarity, and control. The result is a balanced, immersive listening experience that brings music and film soundtracks vividly to life. A refined crossover ensures seamless integration between drivers, while the Silent Flow port design reduces distortion and improves airflow for cleaner bass response. Its rigid, braced cabinet construction, enhanced by through-bolt technology, minimises resonance for greater accuracy. The Silver 300 is available in three contemporary finishes, complete with magnetic grilles and a robust outrigger spike system for stability and style.
