The Rega Naia has been built as the production successor to the original Rega Niad that was such a beautiful thing, but it could only be ever made one at a time by hand using all the resources of the factory.
That's why Mr Gandy and associates decided to produce the Naia, a somewhat more affordable British reference turntable built on the principles of the Niad.

That's why Mr Gandy and associates decided to produce the Naia, an almost affordable British reference turntable built on the principles of the Niad.
The object was to produce simply the most sensitive vibration sensing instrument that can read a micro groove long playing record using available production technology.
