Wharfedale Diamond 12.4i Floorstanding Speakers

There is no doubting the Wharfedale Diamond 12.4i is the big daddy floorstander in the ‘12i Series’ range. This 12i range is all about incremental updates to the cabinet construction and sound quality accompanied by three great looking new finishes. The Diamond 12.4i dramatically improves the performance over the already excellent 12.3i. It’s still a 2.5 way, 3 speaker design but it has larger mid/bas and bass drivers and this changes things considerably. It will appeal to those who want generous depth and body in their sound and also have a bit of room available for a medium sized floorstanding speaker. The Diamond 12.4i employs a smooth and clear sounding 1” (25 mm) textile dome tweeter and a kick-ass Klarity™ cone 6.5” (165 mm) mid/bass driver, together with a second Klarity™ cone 6.5” driver dedicated to producing punchy bass. Considering the ample performance on offer, you have to agree that the Wharfedale Diamond 12.4i floorstanding speakers are absolutely fantastic value for money.
