The reference speaker of the Silver 7G range by Monitor Audio. Big and boisterous capable of filling the largest rooms with a full involving sound. For smaller rooms as well, this speaker has bass for days and is a fun, expressive speaker.

Clarity on the 500s are not lost. The metal dome tweeter has been improved with changes to the waveguide surrounding it. The main drivers have also undergone some changes resulting in a tighter, more precise sound.

From the 6th generation to the 6th generation, the finishes on the 500s has been updated seeing more of a natural quality and the addition of a satin white and gloss black as well. We also have easy access to the full colour sweep here in Australia which wasn't the case for the 6th generation.

Monitor Audio Silver 100 7G from the brand new 7th generation of the ever popular Silver series. It's the big bookshelf speaker - bigger than a normal bookshelf speaker. The first design of this sort of speaker was slated as an experiment with no real expectations that it would succeed. On the contrary, the Silver 2s (as they were then known) were extremely poplular. People loved the extra bass and musical presence they possesed without the need for going to a full floorstanding speaker.

The 7th generation of these speakers draws on those winning design features tweaking things like the mid-bass drivers and the wave guide for a little extra clarity and precision.

The cabinets have had a refresh as well. Nothing dramatic but the wood finishes look natural and textural. We also have the full range of finishes now widely available in Australia.

Monitor Audio Silver 200 7G from the 7th Generation of the Silver series is the elegant, slim form factor floorstanding speaker. The 200s may not fill a large space like the Silver 300s and 500s, but they are a perfect option for a small living room where floor space is valuable and listeners are discerning.

Many of our clients in smaller spaces have opted for Silver 200s over Bookshelf speakers. Once Bookshelf speaker stands are accounted for, the silver 200s are that slim that they actually have a smaller footprint than their equivalent bookshelf speakers. And with the extra mid driver the sound is more consistent throughout the frequency sweep. 

This 7th Generation of Silver 200s sees an update to the mid-bass drivers and tweeter waveguide that results in more precision and clarity in the sound. The finishes have also been updated using a more natural wood veneer and adding gloss black to the inventory. We're also excited that all the colourways will be readily available in Australia.

Not too big and not too small, the Silver 300s have traditionally been the perfect medium. Still a slim, elegant speaker that's capable of filling all but the biggest most voluminous of rooms.

The introduction of the dedicated mid-driver dramatically improves the consistency of the speaker accross the frequencies. Over the Silver 200s, you'll hear more definition and more bass.

The 7th generation has seen a couple of improvements over the 6G units without diverging dramatically from what's always been a favourite of Carlton Audio Visual's clients. Extra stiffnes in the mid/bass drivers and upgrades to the tweeter's Waveguide mean more precision and clarity in the sound. Updates to the aesthetic finish of the speakers and the availability of each colour in the Australian market are the other changes.

The previous Aries G1 has been superb but relatively Auralic has released a new model with some significant upgrades including a high mass base and it now supports Airplay 2.

The new high mass plate not only looks great but increases sonic performance as well.

Reviewers have been very positive with the upgrades for the new version as well. Jason from The Ear says when compared to its predecessor:

Aureder A15 is a do-it-all box that is transparent and revealing in its sound. If you value accuracy and what a streamer with all the bells and whistles then this is the unit for you.

It has a DAC on board and can function as a preamplifier as well. But if you have an integrated amplifier or a dedicated preamplifier you can dismantle the preamplifier function by selecting direct out.

This unit has 2 bays available for inserting your own hard drives into it. Aurender leaves the choice of hard drive up to you which I like actually! For some people 4TB seems like a huge amount, for others, the'll want it pimped out to 16TB. 

Like any other Aurender, the A15 uses internal caching. This means when any track is selected it will be downloaded onto the internal SSD before it's played. Once it's in that temporary storage on the unit, you don't have to worry about buffering that track will play seamlessly. This system also makes things sound better creating more isolation.

What we also love about Aurender units and the A15 is no exception, is the internal tech support. If something's not working quite right or if you just have a question simply go to the link in the app and someone will sort it out for you,

Another exciting new offering from Denon as the replacement of the AVC-X4700.  Actually it dosn''t really look that exciting, in fact it looks exactly the same as the other Denon'amplifiers from the last thirty three years that we have been selling them. The good thing ... the really good thing about this do everything amp, is that it carries that cusp of technologies that will carry a potential owner for another ten or fifteen years of ownership . Without having to replace an amp every fifteen years because it has outdated HDMI switching, or a urine weak power supply that breaks down at every voltage surge. This is an amp that will go the distance.

This unit is crafted in the Japanese factory of Denon, their premium factory in Shirakawa. The AVC-X4700H did not have this luxury and the move over to Japan prompted a complete redesign of the unit's internal structure. They now use a Monolithic Amp Layout as opposed to a vertical layout. Solid heat sinks and a more discreet amplifier module design for much superior clarity and definition are instantly recognisable in this new design. See the attached images of the internal amp module output stages of the 4700 opposed to that of the 4800.

This unit will also come with the option to have 4 subwoofers each independently controllable, as with the AVC-X3800H. And the optional addition of Dirac live as well.

Top of the ACTION range, the A100 Titan is a hi-performance valve integrated amplifier using all tube technology. 100W per

This is an easy way to add Bluetooth capability to any amplifier. Included in this unit is a DAC as well so it simply takes an analogue input on the back of your amplifier to connect to. Additionally it does have a digital optical out for a digital connection.

Bluetooth will never be great HiFi audio quality, we definitely recommend switching to a WiFi based streamer for that. But this is an easy an convenient way to get your streaming services on any system!
