The first time I played them with my all too familiar Johnny Cash "Hurt", I immediately recognised an extra layer of revealed detail in the upper registers. However the Hyphn can do this without being piercingly actinic like so many high end loudspeaker designs. Mr Cash simply was eloquently melancholic in a heart rending rendition of an all too familiar tune.

They are also comfortable in a real domestic environment without the listeners being forced into a super critical centrality to experience the whole performance.
