Created by those obsessed with great sound and for those who love great music. The result is 80 watts of pure pentode output per channel built around a double triode 12AX7 on input and a 12BH7 tube as phase splitter and a pair of Gold Lion Russian Made KT88/6550 power tubes in push-pull configuration for a detailed, delicate and dynamic sound.

The critical transformers and other components are made in house by Synthesis under the aegis of Mr Lorenzo. We have found this product range to be exceptionally reliable in peoples homes.

Garrott Brothers business was founded by the Garrott twins. They were two Australian brothers who dedicated their lives to making music better for everyone. Starting off in the hey day of vinyl in the 70s they incorporated some fantastic technical advances into affordable cartridges. Standard cartridges that came on Turntables back then left alot to be desired and the Garrott Brothers business grew very quickly.

Unfortunately the 1990s saw the demise of vinyl and the rise of the CD. At the same time one of the brothers was diagnosed with congenital heart disease. I won't go into the tradgedy and circumstances of their deaths. If only they had lived long enough though to see the comeback of Vinyl and its popularity blosom again.

We're lucky that their molds and castings live on and new cartridges can be made so their expertise lives on in this age of vinyl renaissance. 

The K1 is the conical model of cartridge in their K series. But it's not to be equated with just an old conical cartridge. The K1 is a step up from the average conical cart and this will translate into more detail and musicality in the sound.

The PowerLine Axis provides an innovative cure to the problem of DC on the mains supply. In theory the mains waveform should be pure AC: a perfect, symmetrical sine wave. In practice the waveform can arrive at the end user clipped, distorted and asymmetrical with a significant DC voltage component. The AC transformers commonly found in equipment power supplies cannot, by nature, tolerate significant DC without being compromised. The PowerLine Axis has five high quality outlets served by a network that re-centres the voltage axis of the mains waveform. This eliminates any DC voltage on the mains power supply, suppressing mechanical hum and liberating performance. Surge protection provides peace of mind too.
