This new RA1592 MkII quite clearly shows its lineage in its aesthetic and its build. But there are a couple of things that have elevated the design to new levels.

They now use the Burr-Brown or otherwise now known as Texas Instruments DAC chips as well as changing the internals up a bit as well with elements filtering down from Rotels new flagship Michi range. But for those who have always loved the curved retro lines of the 15 series, nothing has changed. 

It also keeps its versatility in connectivity. Basically it has a connection for anything you can think of...APTX Bluetooth, 3 optical ins, 3 coaxial ins, PC-USB, USB on the front panel specifically for iOS, MM phono stage, headphone amplifier and Balanced and Unbalanced Analogue inputs.

Its a convenient all-in-one box serious integrated amp.

AND importantly it's a juicy amp with ever so much control and precision. And it's just gotten better and better. Commanding on the speakers yet a sweetness and expression to the sound that marks it above the lesser amps in Rotels range.

The MyConnect 150 from Advance Paris is a true HiFi stereo unit with an incredible list of features.

All of this with a very serious Class AB amplifier that is special in its own right. The amp has a tube pre-amp in it and switching the unit on to High Bias mode will completely engage this pre-amp to its fullest extent. This give the unit a rich, musical sound.

Any real Hi Fi freak loves a good amplifier and anyone whose been in the game since the eighties will have had something to do with a Yamaha product in their time. The AS1200 could have been made anytime in the last forty years and it will still be a recognisably excellent design in another forty years time.

Classic stuff and part of Yamaha's well funded push back into the discerning stereo marketplace.

We sold this amplifier in 2011 and the client has loved it but decided it's time for an upgrade. This is a serious amplifier. Our very own Darren snatched up one of these but an older version that doesn't have the balanced connections.

200W of pure unadulterated power. That's more than what the current model, the Unico 150, has! In effect...better than the current model...oohhh!

It is an amplifier that will power the hardest loads with complete ease.

It has a tube preamplifier stage and a Mosfet output stage. Combining the best of subtly and grace with power and control of the Mosfets.

This unit does have some superficial wear and tear. There are marks on the case work which I have showed in the pictures.

This unit does not have a remote control nor does it come with the box or accessories. Therefore we will not be able to ship this unit easily interstate. We can offer a delivery service for certain locations. Please talk to us if you'd be interested in that.

This is a killer price for a real audiophile amplifier. Bear in mind, the Unico 150 goes for $11K new.

Just traded-in, we have a Synthesis Roma 96dc that is less than 6 months old. This unit is unmarked and in perfect condition however it does not come with its box and packaging. We can arrange delivery to certain locations within Victoria both Metro and Rural. Please call us to discuss this. 

This is a very 'sweet' sounding amplifier. Often these pure Class A tube amplifiers with low Wattage are sweeter than their beefier brethren. And this is certainly the case with this unit.

Synthesis amplifiers are all made in Italy and they are one of the ultimate in Tube amplification. There are quite a lot of tube manufacturers on the market that produce units with a brittle, bright sound in this sub $10K category. Not Synthesis. The music is pure, without edges. The resolution is clear and transparent. As Synthesis says this amp has a 'detailed sound...above and beyond that which one would expect from an amplifier of twice its price'.

This is an Ex-Demo unit that has been around for a while but it is the type of quality amplifier that will last for generations. Made in Denmark and having a defined, clear tonality that can sound dry to those who are sensitive to that sort of sound.

It runs a hell of a lot of current so there's no problem driving any sort of speakers even though its rated Watts sounds a little lean at 80W into 8 Ohms.

It has some very cool features like 2 pre-outs so it can be beefed up with 2 separate power amplifiers and a processor loop allowing easy connection to surround sound receivers.

It does not come with a remote.

Power corrupts they say, but with an amplifier there is no substitute for current and wattage when it comes to exercising authority over a recalcitrant loudspeaker load.
