Sony Projector 8
The new Sony Projector 8. Utilising the incredible XR processing chips as well as the very best of lenses means this projector has set a new standard for Home Theatres in the $20K range.
2700 lumens is brighter than the previous 7000 model. The laser light in combination with the pimped out lens makes this epic brightness possible.
Lens memory is also a significant feature that allows you to easily experience trues wide screen cinema in your very own home.
A couple of nice tricks means keystoning will be a breeze. You can put this unit directly onto the ceiling and have it image perfectly with its zone by zone adjustment capabilities.
Altogether an astonishingly vivid, realistic picture not previously attainable in this price bracket.

Epson LS12000 Laser Projector
Bigger, brighter and more beautiful, the future is Laser.
This is Epson's first real 4K unit but more than that, it will actually pixel shift that whole 4K matrix. This means it'll be BETTER than 4K...and that's unheard of in the residential projector market.
It's also a 3 chip LCD design meaning there is zero rainbowing. Rainbows are nice after rain but not on your projector screen. There really aren't many projectors with 3 chips under the $10K mark.
Traditionally this place in the market has been dominated by Sony projectors in Australia. But this Epson may just trump them!
Read some of the glowing reviews coming out of the USA.
Here's one from PCMAG
And this one from AVS Forum here where they promptly gave out a Top Choice Award to it as best in class.

ViewSonic X100 LED 4K UHD Projector
The ViewSonic X100 LED 4K projector is setting a benchmark at its price point. There are some very cool features to this Projector that are normally found in units at least double its price. Foremost, is the LED technology. No lamp replacements needed and superior colour and brightness levels are evident at first glance.
Wide lens shift is a fantastic addition to this unit and another feature generally found in much more expensive models. In a model at htis price range we'd normally find digital keystoning instead. It achieves the same end of positioning the picture perfectly on your screen but will deteriorate the resolution of the image at the same time. Whereas Lens shift will not.
Other nifty features are the dedicated control app that puts all of the projector's features at your finger tips (apple and android devices), in-built Alexa so you can control the unit completely hands free and motorised lens cover, that automatically opens when you power on the projector.
This is a feature packed projector optimised for sensational Home Cinema.
Come check it out at our Home Theatre demonstatrion rooms in Carlton!

Larger than its Sony competitors and not quite as smooth an image, but excellent for a theatre situation with some residual light, good adjustability and set up options.

ViewSonic X1 Projector, 4K compact LED Theatre
Lamp free projectors have only in the last couple of years come down in price below the $10K mark. And now there are offerings like this little beauty for below $5K!
Using LED technology, this unit is bright and fun. Not to be confused with its 1080p sibling this projector is full 4K UHR.
...And yes, we think lamps and globes are quickly being relegated to the realms of archeology.

ViewSonic PX728-4K Projector, perfect for Gamers
We see this projector as the perfect unit for an avid gamer. Of course, it's a fabulous looking Home Theatre Projector as well and will double up nicely playing films. But it really stands out from the crowd when it comes to gaming.
This is because it has 240Hz refresh rate which is double the current industry standard of 120Hz and most TVs will still only do 60Hz. This means everything gaming is fluid and more precise. Split second changes are caught with this incredible refresh rate.
It also has a USB-C input - very uncommon on Home Theatre machines - designed specifically to plug the Nintendo Swithch straight into the back of it. On that, we would suggest plugging your gaming hardware into the back of this unit and bypassing any AV receiver that might be in the system in order to get the most out of the ultra fast inputs and refresh rates.
Of course, you can take an audio out to the amp to get your audiophile sound.
