X Power
This high quality amplifier is a great example of our upgrade philosophy, providing you with excellent stereo amplification as well as the opportunity to improve the sound in the future by adding a second X Power.

The X Power uses an oversized power supply, which allows it to be incredibly dynamic and responsive to even the most challenging inputs. These huge power reserves will be channelled into your music whether being used in stereo or mono mode.

To make sure all of that power is put to good use, every single component - from the die cast Cyrus chassis down to each power filter, has been selected through a careful testing process to find the combination which provides our trademark sound quality.

The PSX-R2 takes the X Power to another level of power amplification. By powering the audio output stages and separating control and audio signal power supplies the PSX-R2 boosts the finesse of the X Power, translating into even smoother treble and mid-range performance and a faster weightier bass.

With a PSX-R2, an X Power can provide up to 120 watts (stereo) or 240 watts (mono) per channel (into 4Ω).

We are now making way for the new Cyrus models and still have brand new stock left of these beauties. I'm not even sure how they're going to make these any better. These are hot for the taking. For all those Vinyl lovers, there's not really a better phono stage out there.

Once upon a time Cyrus made a phono stage in called the Phono X, a very adjustable and sensitive line stage for adding a high quality record player to a Cyrus system encasd in their characteristic magnesium alloy chassis. It wasn't cheap, but it was simply fantastic to listen to with a sub zero noise floor and acute but sweet detail presentation.

They stopped making it in fairly short order, acceding to the then prevailing market wisdom that turntables were primitive tech doomed for extinction. Oh how we cried ... and Phono Xs became sought after and highly collectible.

Welcome to 2016 and Cyrus have risen to the call of born again vinyl and released the Phono Signature, and it is fantastic.

These are now an old model of Rega loudspeakers so we're clearing our floorstock. This particular pair has some superficial marks on them and have been priced accordingly.

Bigger and beefier than the RX-3, the RX-5 thrives in larger living rooms or with people who want a bit more bass.

Side firing bass drivers deliver the ultimate in bass adjustability. If you'd like more bass simply move them closer to the rear and side walls. If you're after a leaner sound, simply move them out into the room a little more.

The Pre₂ DAC XR separates the pre amp into its own chassis and provides a dedicated power supply which means the pre amp can resolve more detail. Complete with a built-in DAC that is now complete with the QXR upgrade board for even better performace. The pre amp is compatible with a very wide range of sources such as CD players, streamers or your TV digital audio out.

This unit has been traded-in as the client has upgraded. It was only owned for about a year, has all the boxes and accessories and is in perfect condition.

OLED TVs do away with the need to have a Backlight on the screen which inevitably causes bleed through onto the panel reducing colour and picture accuracy. Organic LEDs are different from normal LEDs in that they can individually switch themselves off. This is why people first notice the incredible blackness on an OLED screen - a traditional LED or LCD screen always has some residual light shining through. 

The Bild 3.55 is where the OLED screens begin in the Loewe range and like all Loewe products they offer a build quality far and above other manufacturers who also utilise OLED technology.

Firstly, they have a built-in dedicated soundbar to enhance your listening experience where the bulk of a dedicated sound system isn't practical. Secondly, the Aluminium chassis oozes class and elegance as well as rigidity.

An answer to a problem you didnt think you had. Our ex display Leema Corvus will work wonders integrating into high end home theatres where the user would like to improve the performance of their centre speaker and subwoofer control. Ex display. Unit has been here for a while, to move it we would be happy to do an excellent deal on a centre channel & or subwoofer.

Our display unit of the A90J 65" has been sitting prime position facing Lygon st. And even though it gets glare and sunlight on it, and even though it's an OLED, picture quality is luminous! I definitely couldn't say that about every OLED TV.

We sell alot of OLEDs but this one is just that much brighter. The colour really pops even positioned next to the window at the front of the shop. There's barely any annoying reflectivity on the panel's protective layer which goes to show the quality of materials used in its construction.

Replete with all of Sony's newest Cognitive Processor XR technology that's working behind the scenes to make sure your blacks are true black and that it's Sony's brightest ever OLED.

Motion with the unit is also superb and you can really tell it's a quality TV when you put it up against the cheaper units in the Sony range.

Sony's built in smart features seem endless and most importantly are very intuitive to use!

Because Sony is changing over their panels, this A90J is actually even better than the newer models. It is brighter than the newer equivalents both the A90K and the A90L. There are very few of these units left and we have two at the moment. But we don't think they will last long when people realise what a particularly good screen this is and given the good price we have going.

This is an Ex-Demo unit that has been around for a while but it is the type of quality amplifier that will last for generations. Made in Denmark and having a defined, clear tonality that can sound dry to those who are sensitive to that sort of sound.

It runs a hell of a lot of current so there's no problem driving any sort of speakers even though its rated Watts sounds a little lean at 80W into 8 Ohms.

It has some very cool features like 2 pre-outs so it can be beefed up with 2 separate power amplifiers and a processor loop allowing easy connection to surround sound receivers.

It does not come with a remote.

Just traded-in, we have a Synthesis Roma 96dc that is less than 6 months old. This unit is unmarked and in perfect condition however it does not come with its box and packaging. We can arrange delivery to certain locations within Victoria both Metro and Rural. Please call us to discuss this. 

This is a very 'sweet' sounding amplifier. Often these pure Class A tube amplifiers with low Wattage are sweeter than their beefier brethren. And this is certainly the case with this unit.

Synthesis amplifiers are all made in Italy and they are one of the ultimate in Tube amplification. There are quite a lot of tube manufacturers on the market that produce units with a brittle, bright sound in this sub $10K category. Not Synthesis. The music is pure, without edges. The resolution is clear and transparent. As Synthesis says this amp has a 'detailed sound...above and beyond that which one would expect from an amplifier of twice its price'.

The LCD-24 was a special creation from the designers at Audeze and a 'pet project' of the Chief Technology Officer. These headphones use their ultra light, ultra definition Fluxor planar magnetic drivers with Nano scale diaphragms.

These two-and-a-half-way speakers strike the balance between compactness and restraint, and unabashed, wide-eyed enthusiasm for music.

This unit was used for a couple of days at the HiFi show and then packed up back into its box. It is in perfect condition and comes with full warranty.

A lovely amplifier from Welsh high-end electronics manufacturer, Leema. It offers incredible sonic performance ticking many boxes for functionality as well.

Leema Acoustics are a very established HiFi brand from Wales. A small factory with boutique appeal that's been making high end HiFi for decades. They've been a mainstay at Carlton Audio Visual and people particularly love them for their warmth and controlled presentation. 

This new version of the Pulse comes with such modern niceties as APTX bluetooth, great phono stage and a highly capable DAC.

This unit was opened and played at the recent Melbourne HiFi show, then packed up and left in its box. It is in perfect condition and will be sold with its full warranty.

A streamer and high quality CD player combined into the one convenient box. 

Leema has been a boutique, well respected HiFi brand from Wales for decades. The Stream IV combines the Quasar's streamer module with their superior CD mechanism for an ultra functional, premium streamer/cd combination.

This is an unusual and rare offering! 

The Big Red loudspeakers are some of the most respected, highly lauded Australian made loudspeakers available in the market today. They are the reference set of loudspeakers from Rod Crawford at Legend Acoustics.

Normally they retail for $10K but normally they are an active set of speakers with built-in amplifiers. These particular units, however, have been modified to be passive and to work with a whole slew of separate amplifiers.

They are the height of definition, precision and tonal control going for a very reasonable $4K!

Most people who buy Big Reds keep them for a lifetime. Rarely do any come on the secondhand market and certainly not in this passive configuration.

They do not come with their boxes and shipping long distances interstate unfortunately won't be possible for these beauties. However talk to us if you live in NSW. Sometimes we travel up the Hume for deliveries, we could potentially work something out. That goes for rural VIC as well.

The Leema Antila is a classic CD player. Resolving articulate yet deeply and engagingly musical. 

This is a briliant opportunity to buy our old Ex-Demo stock at a great price. Because this was such a winning formula, Leema haven't changed much in their new version of the the Antila.

There are a few marks and scratches on the unit which is to be expected for a much loved piece of gear that has spent a number of years on the demo floor.

The price of this unit reflects the aesthetic marks on the unit. We have tried to take pictures of all of the slight blemishes.

A serious Tube Phono preamplifier for serious HiFi enthusiasts.

This is one of those units that are great value. They are hand built units that pay attention to the important stuff but aren't afraid to skimp on some things in order to keep units affordable.

For example this phono stage uses point-to-point wiring that's normally only available on the highest priced units. It uses premium parts like ceramic tube sockets, Nichicon and DuRoch capacitors, 5AR4 tube-rectifier-circuitry and gold-plated, panel mounted RCA input and output jacks.

But it doesn't go silly with controls and features. Keeping things simple, keeps costs down and sound quality high.
