Designed specifically for dedicated home cinemas, the Series SX on wall speaker range feature exceptionally engineered drivers made to handle high power with high sensitivity.

With Krix’s proprietary waveguides ensuring optimum dispersion, Series SX on wall speakers are made for wall mounting, but are also ideal for placing behind an acoustically transparent screen, for sound that will truly move you.

This is an interesting unit. This unit has had parts replaced in it and is an opened box but barely used. It comes with full factory warranty with Box and all the accessories.

Amina are the original truly invisible speaker. The company that devoloped the very clever Vibrational Panel Technology or VPT which does away with a traditional cone type of speaker design altogether. This was originally an experiment by the British Defence Department to create immersive sound...in the end they didn't find it so useful...but lucky for us, it's extraordinarily useful in the Custom Integration, audiophile space.

Like the wooden panels on an acoustic instrument vibrate microscopically to produce sound, the amina speakers induce a panel to vibrate producing the frequency range of a full range floorstander.

Apart from being very light and being able to hide behind any surface, completely uninhibited, this unique technology actually has the advantage of sounding better in many ways! It's truly non directional. So wherever you stand in the room, it will sound the same. This is not the case with cone drivers and speaker manufacturers will try their hardest with engineering gymnastics (Eg. waveguides) to improve off axis performance but that fact of the matter is a cone driver will always be directional.

The detail and precision of the sound is also extraordinary and that's because of these microscopic movements needed to create the vibrations and the small amount of energy that's required to do that, 1W to produce 90dB @ 1M. That is unheard of with ANY conventional speaker design.

This extreme efficiency also means that the sound is full and dynamic, a true immersive sound.

There are other 'Invisible' speakers out there in the market but none that actually have VPT as it's patented by Amina. This means that they are heavier and create more substantial vibrations which will overtime detrimentally affect the structure of your plaster and your home.

The Edge series from Amina was developed to sit in drywall constructions and the lip to be plastered over...and then of course covered with your choice of plaster, wallpaper or anything else really!

The perfect subwoofer to pair with a small set of bookshelves to discreetly blend into your room decor. We wouldn't be pairing this little guy with large floorstanders but Bookshelf speakers are its natural home. Mobius series panels are designed to be completely plastered overed or covered by wood, leather even high pressure laminate. They are more flexible in their application than the Edge Series of Amina speakers but designed around the same principles.

Now in a revised walnut finish with an improved space and soundstaging. The AE109.2 is a successful upgrade to the previous model. In addition to drive unit revisions there is a very high density MDF used in the cabinetry that has allowed a thirty percent increase in internal volume while the whole speaker is only fifteen per cent larger.

A real sleeper in the marketplace. One Saturday morning recently we happened to leave a pair of these running in stereo with Adele playing through them and three groups of people bought them one after the other in a kind of Hi Fi feeding frenzy. They hadn't intended to buy loudspeakers but they were caught up by the energy and presence that the Acoustix are able to portray.

Their secret is the D'Appolito configuration with large motor to cabinet ratio and an excellent tweeter with a cabinet that is immensely solid.

Once when I was visiting the Krix factory in South Australia they demonstrated the cabinet integrity of the Acoustix by taking one off the production line and asking the nastiest largest Bikiest individual there to destroy it. Well Roy jumped on it, sledgehammerd it, threw it to the ground, dropped it out of a third story window onto concrete and really went for it with quite disconcerting violence.

Unlike Mr Musk and the Tesla Cybertruck windows the Acoustix came out of this encounter unscathed except for surface and corner damage ....

Oh, and they sound damn good too. They have is rhythm, pace and slam that a speaker on a stand has no right to be able to produce. The Acoustix Mk2 is simply toe tapping fun. $1675 in a real wood veneer, or save a few dollars with black vinyl wrap at $1395.
